Wsop Bracelet Events 2019
The World Series of Poker hosted its first gold bracelet event held online in 2015. Over the past four years, a total of nine bracelets have been awarded on WSOP.com. On Thursday, February 21 it was announced that another nine would be awarded at the 2019 WSOP.
Entering 2019, WSOP.com has awarded 2,968 seats into WSOP events, including 321 Main Event seats. WSOP.com is more than just online gold bracelets though. It is also the best way to affordably qualify for WSOP events, with non-stop satellite offerings, and of course the popular 25-Seat Scramble, awarding at least 25 seats into the WSOP Main Event. The 2019 World Series of Poker was the 50th annual tournament, and took place from May 28-July 16 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were 90 bracelet events. A gold bracelet will be awarded online on each and every Sunday from June 3 through July 14, with two additional online bracelet events taking place on Wednesday, June 19 and July 3.
The online events feature a variety of formats and price points, with buy-ins ranging from as low as $400 to as high as $3,200.
“Just like the land-based WSOP, the annual summer series is also the best time for online poker players in the U.S. to chase big prize pools and WSOP gold bracelets,” said Bill Rini, WSOP.com’s head of online poker. “WSOP.com is offering a consistent gold bracelet schedule this year, plus non-stop satellites to both the online and live events, giving players the best opportunity to participate in the 50th Annual WSOP.”
The press release regarding the WSOP.com offerings had the following to say regarding participating in these online events:
“To participate on WSOP.com, players must be 21 years of age, and physically inside the borders of an eligible state. You do not have to be a resident of the state to register for play or participate, but all game action must be done while inside state borders. It is important to note the following in regards to WSOP.com online play:
- Players must be physically inside the borders of an eligible state at the time of the tournament.
Las Vegas, Nevada
- Pot-Limit Omaha events are not available on mobile version of software
- Tournament tickets cannot be used for re-entry
- Tournament tickets cannot be used for Knockout bounty tournaments
- Players have 30 seconds to re-enter re-entry events and must have enough funds in their account to do so at the time of re-entry.'
It has not yet been determined whether or not New Jersey-based online poker players will be able to participate in gold bracelet events from their home state.
In addition to the largest-ever slate of online bracelet events, WSOP.com will also play host to many satellites into live WSOP tournaments. A total of 2,968 WSOP seats have been awarded on WSOP.com, with plans for non-stop satellite offering starting as of Feb. 21. The marquee satellite event is the returning ‘25 Seat Scramble’, a $215 buy-in event kicking off at 4:00 p.m. PT on June 30 that will award at least 25 seats into the WSOP main event.
